I was in Orange County this weekend for my cousin's wedding. My mom and I flew in on Friday and returned on Monday.

The wedding was held at this very pretty old church.

The church was even prettier on the inside. Here are Lindsay and Ylianna just as the ceremony is ending.

The reception was held at this place. It was very nice inside. The food was absolutely killer, and it didn't stop coming all evening. If I remember correctly, we had a six-course dinner.

There was a lot of alcohol to counter the huge amount of food. My uncle Lindsay and I drove it to the reception hall before the wedding, and it filled the back of the SUV.

Ylianna's side of the family is Mexican. As such, there was a great mariachi band that performed at the reception. It was my first time ever seeing one in person, so I soaked up every moment of it. I loved it! The singer in this picture is Johnny Juarez. He goes to Calvary Chapel and sung at my parents' wedding, at my aunt and uncle's wedding, and I think at some of my other cousins' weddings. He's got quite a voice. It was a treat to listen to him sing.

Theresa's barista shot for the Common Cup.

Testing some new techniques on Gordon.

Halloween! I finally carved my first jack-o-lantern this year. We had a few people over at JAG Headquarters for a pumpkin carving party. The pumpkins, from left, were carved by John Wall, me, Chrissy, Angie, and Gordon.

So John bought a new car. It's a 1995 Chevrolet Corvette. 300hp and 340 lb-ft of torque mated to a six-speed manual transmission. It starts fast, it stops fast, it corners fast, it sounds great, and people turn their heads when you drive by. What's not to like?

I spent this past weekend with Pete and Laura. We went to Pittsburgh on Friday, then spent the rest of the weekend in Wheeling, West Virginia with Pete's brother and his family. Pittsburgh is a pretty kickin' city; I decided to play around with shots of the skyline.

This is the view from the top of the Duquesne Incline on the South Shore.

My favorite shot from the weekend. Click the picture for a bigger version.

This is Sheetz gas station, in Wheeling. It's got to be the most gaudy, overdone gas station in America. You can order food and coffee from your gas pump. I love it.

Ewan was sick with something and threw up all over himself in the car. Since we were out, this was only thing that he could wear instead until we got him some new clothes. Attractive.

Gordon, Chrissy, and I just got back from a trip to Tennessee to visit Sam at college. It was lots of fun. Sam took us to a spot on a river where there are cliffs overlooking the water. Gordon, Sam, and I were jumping in from about 30 feet above the water. It was lots of fun once I got over my fears.

Similar shot, just zoomed out. By looking at these pictures, you can't really understand how high 30 feet feels when you're about to jump off of it. Imagine a three-story building. Now imagine jumping from the roof. Maybe now you get the idea. Oh, and look at how clean that water is. I love Tennessee.

Sam climbed up a tree and jumped from a spot even higher above the face of the cliff. Crazy kid.

There was also pretty huge rope swing a bit down the river.

On a completely unrelated note, I was finally able to grab a picture of John that I like.
